The rapid takeover of Afghanistan by the Taliban on August 15th, 2021 created a massive humanitarian crisis in an already struggling economic environment.
Infinitus Salvator, working with multiple partners, including Studebaker Group, Team Hope and others, provided evacuation services, safe housing, secure transportation, and sustainability programs. More than 550-plus at-risk Afghans were evacuated into neighbouring countries and elsewhere. These relocation and resettlement efforts continue unabated.
The regime change in Afghanistan was very fast, but economic recovery will be very slow. Infinitus Salvator will continue with efforts to ensure the safety, security and well-being of those at risk still remaining within that country’s borders.
